		<description>there are certain times when we may not do certain mitzvos. If one does a mitzvah during those times &lt;br&gt;they are not doing it for Hashem but rather for themselves thereby not really performing a mitzvah. If Hashem put you in a situation where the mitzva cannot be performed your act of not doing the mitzvah is a mitzvah ( get it)&lt;br&gt;there is a story told of reb zushe and his brother; they were incarcerated and held in a small dank jail the cell had an object in it that emitted a terrible smell. b/c of the smell they couldnt daven, wich upset them very much. reb zushe then said the act of not doing the mitzva bc we cant shows Hashem that are performance of mitzvos is to serve Him in the right way and not to serve our own needs and feelings&lt;br&gt;   so in this situation Hashem will look down and see you not shaking your lulav b.c He had the first day of sukkos fall on shabbos and see that although you would love to fullfill His commandments you wont do so b.c it was also His commandment not to on that day.</description>
