Williamsburg, NY – Shabbat Morning Attempt to Blowup Yeshiva School Buses

Williamsburg, NY – NYPD investigators of the 90th Precinct and FDNY marshals are on the lookout for an arsonist who tried to torch three school buses in Williamsburg over Shabbat.

The firbug stuffed gas-soaked rags into the gas tanks of the parked yellow buses on Rodney Street and Marcy Avenue, then lit the rags at 4 a.m., police said.

Williamsburg Shomrim foot patrol was also on the scene. The buses suffered only minor damage.
